Re: Hazel the older Sister....
its at $37600 this morning. I sure am glad I got to see her last weekend before Keith sells her. Given what he did to this one, I wonder what all Scarlet is getting done to out do Hazel???
When is the new build thread coming out?

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Scoti is probably correct, they don't realize that he probably has more than 37500 in it. THEN you can start adding up tons of hours. All I know about Scarlet it's supposed to be original paint (yee haa) and highly highly detailed.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Can someone post up a linky to eBay auction so I can watch from my cell? I cant get to eBay from work. There's no telling how high this one will go. Huge fan base and popularity of the truck.. yhe character is second to none IMO. Eric has a bad ass shiney one.. but the Patina look. Hazel and Stella, hands down personal favorites. If I had the coin.. shed be mine.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Didn't want you to miss it. I almost can't look.... Lol.
Every time I look at this truck, I want to say something, but there's really no words. If the next next owner changes even one thing, I may have to hunt them down...

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
No need for remorse guys, Hazel has fulfilled Keith's dream beyond even his expectations. I talked with him a couple of years ago when his journey began for the build. At the time it was just a vision with out a truck to build. It wasnt until Hazel became available that the pieces of the puzzle fell in place.
He wanted to build a truck that would run down the road with the a/c on just like a new one. It had to hover just inches above the ground, and ride like it was on rails. He also wanted to relive some of our early years of cruising shows, hanging with friends, while dropping jaws and collecting awards. As you can attest, he has accomplished all of those goals and exceeded his expectations with the Steettruck of the year award being the cherry on top. We spoke via text yesterday, and he said it was time to reduce his heard and simplify his life for a while. Having some insight on the personal distractions that Keith has been dealing with I am amazed that he has even accomplished what he has this past year. Rather than fret that Hazel might go to another owner, rejoice that this will allow Keith to refocus on family, friends, and his next build.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
I learn so much from all of the builds here on the board, low budget to unlimited budget, and Keith's effort in Hazel could be a chapter in a text book titled, "How to Build an Awesome C10!" I hope he does well in selling Hazel because it will provide for Scarlett's build, and that will provide another lesson for most of us ...including Keith!

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
I agree with ^^ but it still sucks to see her go to someone else. Although. You never know who the new owner is going to be. (funny how we automatically start thinking worst case. Like the new buyer is going to rice out the truck and add neon lights to it.)
looking fw to Scarlet. I'm sure she won't disappoint us. Congrats Keith on this amazing milestone!! Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Hazel the older Sister....
Is the gas tank still in the cab on this truck? Just curious. .. Not good, or bad .. just wondering. He may not have had room under the bed (?)
