Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
53 Burb on IH scout 4x4 chassis with a few goodies in Puyallup Wa. I usually don't like to post rigs in this price range but this might be a fun one for someone looking for a solid base to build an AD burb 4x4 https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...type=top_picks
I don't think the 19K starting asking point is that far out of line for what is there.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
This might well be the deal of the day for someone in the PNW who wants to build an AD with Corvette suspension run bags and put an LS in it. 4K is a steal on it for what he has listed. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...type=top_picks
Plus it has the gas tank installed and a bed wood kit.

He also has an AD 5 window roof laying in the pile in one of the photos that might be of interest to someone within driving distance.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
I'm always amazed at the asking prices for trucks in other parts of the country. In the PNW that would be hard to sell for 4 k in that condition and as it has been listed for 20 weeks back there it may be way over priced there.

This one is one of the total build including your own chassis but you don't see a 56 COE cab with Bell Telephone bed every day. It will be at the Portland Oregon swapmeet this coming weekend.

Any vehicle sold with no title is a deal killer for me.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
I don't call those without titles "vehicles" I consider them to be parts to build a vehicle with. If is one is buying a non runner without a title to do an S-10 swap they should have the seller write separate bills of sale for the cab and the bed stating that they bought parts they didn't buy a vehicle.
On that one that I posted of the coe cab and telephone bed or long box I'd be asking for bills of sale for the box and the cab separate. Meaning that you bought a cab as is where is and have the bill of sale for it and you separately bought the bed as is where is and have a separate bill of sale for it.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
Well decorated 292 six in Eugene Oregon.
Stock engine in alleged running condition with all of the finned aluminum shiny pieces plus intake and Tom Landgon cast headers. Pretty much what I have on my 292 except I have an Aussie speed intake and don't have that timing cover. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...type=top_picks

What appears to be a 52 3600 Five window with what appears to be original paint.
The add is 5 weeks old so it may be gone or it may be a bargaining tool with tow rig and trailer parked out front and cash greenies in hand. It's in Ashford Wa which is close to the SE entrance to Mt Rainier National park. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...67390425%22%7D

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
I don't usually post them when they are up in this price range but this might be a pretty decent truck. No indication of what engine and trans but it appears to have an automatic.

1955 LCF could be a cool project.
$1400 in Langley BC It looks like what is there can be saved. Probably worth more without the chassis. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...6640048821310/ |

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
That is 1020.32 in today's US dollars. A lot might depend on how difficult it is to sell the chassis to a scrap yard without paperwork in BC. Here locally it has become a pain in the keester to haul vehicles or major parts of vehicles to the scrap yard without a title or vin number of the vehicle it came off. and a lot of those hulks get dumped out in the sage brush rather than hauled for scrap or just sit and rot in a back yard or on the street.

1954 long panel for $1500 in Washington
Looks like it has had some rust fixed in the distant past and that needs a revisit. But for $1500 getting all the parts in one pile is about as much as you can expect these days. https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/c...749877502.html |

That old girl has been rode hard and put away wet too many times Some how I'd be thinking about making an overlander out of it.

From Maple Valley it probably has a pretty good coat of moss on the north side. My sister lives on the Cedar river a mile or so west of Hwy 18 and everything gets a bit covered there.

A bit different but if you live close enough to Cle Elum Wa and need a stick welder this one is priced right. Plus you can tell the significant other "lets ride over to Cle Elum for the day. The extra stops might cost more than the 40 dollar welder though.
Old Lincoln 180 Amp 220 Volt welder for 40.00 that work forever and hardly ever have issues. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...37155482%22%7D

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
235's new and used! None of these are mine.
https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/...749275063.html Rebuilt and balanced, 235 inline 6 motor, year 1955, fits a 1947-1953 chevy truck, with bell housing, new flywheel, new clutch assembly with new throwout bearing. We have a all receipts. Work done by Hutchins Performance. We have other chevy truck parts 1947-1953 available also if interested. https://bend.craigslist.org/pts/d/be...756118634.html Just pulled out of my 1954 Chevy truck to do a LS swap. This engine ran great. No smoke, no burning oil. Looks like it was probably rebuilt not to long ago. I used to drive this truck all over town. Also have a ceramicoated split header and a complete dual exhaust with glass packs(for short bed), steering wheel and column, transmission and some other parts. $350 for the Engine only. I’ll make a package deal on the other parts if interested. Thanks!

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
I like the "we have all the receipts and what shop did the rebuild on the top one. A lot of times that "rebuilt" engine has a rebuilder's tag on it from 50 years ago and has been worn out twice since. 350 for the other one that he says he drove all over the place isn't bad but that red/orange paint should be an automatic 100 dollar deduction from that. 235 engines never left the factory red or orange.
