Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

I wouldn’t call mine worse, but it sure makes me hurt that someone cut a shortbed big block a/c dash with a spoon. Fortunately I have a nice repair panel to fix it.

Seems like a nationwide epidemic back in the day...Seems to me, no one was embarrassed when their buddies got into the truck...then again 'Birds of a feather.......'

Hi Eric,

Sorry I'm so far behind the curve. Enjoyed your visit. Had it been a little longer there were a couple of things to check out in the area, but we can do that next time.
Saw the photos of the Gypsy wagon from Owls Head. Every time I see that I have to stop and study it for a while.
Received the hat today thank you! I'll be sending you an item that I wanted to give you while you were here, but the conversation turned and I forgot it until after you were gone. " Not only do I have a horrible short-term memory, but my short-term memory isn't good either."

Thanks for stopping by!

Killer Bee, I have not the clue why you have done this, but you are an American and this are American parts and cars, therefore I have copied them.

Someday I would find out what is the reason behind, learn every day.

Re: ChevyLand ‘The Truck Photo Tour’

^^^ THREAD WINNER^^^

Gerhard, I'm sorry I wasn't available to meet you while you were here.. Eric and I are friends and I really wanted to meet with you both together..

only trouble is Eric teases me about my short beer cans

I enjoy your sense of humor and it reminds me of my time stationed in Germany and great friends I met there..

I had the privilege of traveling around Germany quite a bit..

stationed in Stuttgart, toured Porsche and Mercedes..
road trip to Bavaria for staufest but BMW was closed
did make it to Neuschwanstein but so hungover the walk up the hill almost killed us
road trip to black forest, saw world's biggest cuckoo clock in Triberg..
bought several cuckoo clocks and shipped home from stores..
water falls and forest hikes, beautiful!

and took a few exciting trips out of country..
road trip to Innsbruck
road trip to Zurich x2
road trip to Paris
road trip to Praha

I very much admire German culture, discipline, engineering, courtesy, etc.

people are wonderful, polite, and fun to be around..

traveling the roads and autobahns are a pleasure compared to selfish Americans..

I've lived and traveled more than 30 countries and Germany is the first on the list I'll take my family when kids are a little older..

cheers!

Ha,ha lol.
Would like to met you too, maybe we see us in US or Germany next time.
Thanks for compliments regarding my country, but honestly I was also impressed from yours. In my opinion the patience and travel discipline was also very high, anyway we enjoyed each other and this is great.
Take care and you are always welcome.
