A cold air kit for a 99-up truck should work just fine.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
WOW! with "friends" like you guys.........
i do have an update... I FINALLY GOT THE HARNESS BACK!!! been messing with it for a few hours now. what a pain in the butt!! i dont know if i can get the computer into the cab because the harness has to make a u-turn under the engine covers... and i dont know if the engine covers will go on with the biggest part of the harness making a u turn where they mount... sooooo, i need to get those covers back and try to mount them. might have to wait til July so i can pick them up on our vacation out in Colorado

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
Thats the same issue I had wiht the wait4me harness. I ended up going with a company called performance systems integration. PSI.com Great guys to deal with and great product. On ebay also. $500 for the harness made from scratch built to your specs. Thickest part of the harness is about the size of my thumb. This one will be going in the cab for sure!

The PCM was under the hood in the Escalade, so you won't hurt it. Have Bob make you a pretty box for your like he did for his. FWIW, I moved mine underhood from being crammed behind the cluster.
