I killed some rust on an inner fender well and put on a coat of primer, will wait until tomorrow to topcoat the fender week. Still cleaning and painting.

These old slot mags just scream classic IMO... I love em. When I was a kid (many moons ago), I bought a set of mags for my first car, and they didn't fit. I kept them, thinking one day I might be able to use them. My dad told me to get rid of them, so I hid them under my bed! I got to use them after all when they fit my next car perfectly. Now if I could find a cheap set for my truck...

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Got the motor & trans set down in the frame (mock up), had to dimple the #1 primary tube to clear the motor mount bracket. Now I gotta hack up my brand new trans crossmember to work on my Tremec TKO trans

Dropped the rear suspension from the frame;

Finsihed gutting the cab, getting ready to separate the cab from the frame.
