Re: post your 67-72 4x4

This is what mine looks like so far. Slow but sure. 4" lift, 33" Goodyear MTR's on 16" wheels. Pretty much new from the ground up.

they are the firestone two piece rims and with them is all the drama of dealing with split rims and finding hubcaps.

I like them. I have some two piece wheels on my REO. I think they are fine as long as you respect them. One of our tire shops in my home town will work with them. They do a lot of Ag related tire repairs as well.
Are yours 16's ?

What tires do you have on your truck? It looks good.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4

Just piling on,

Recently purchased this '68 K10. Drove it home almost 2400 miles to Seattle from Missouri, across two huge mountain passes (6300 & 7200ft.). Was quite the experience driving a truck with a 4" lift and 35" tires at 75-80MPH all those miles...

Beautiful scenery though....

Everything new under the body, I have to take care of body and paint, and add A/C. I'm thinking about keeping it white, but it was a baby/sky blue with a while cab originally.

Nice '68. I guess the blue would look better but not with that red interior. Hey, where's the transfer case shifter?

Re: post your 67-72 4x4

If you look closely at the floor, there's a silver handle for the custom shifter. It's pretty cool, stays out of the way and works great! The guy that built the truck knew what he was doing for sure. I said the same thing when we first started talking about the sale.
