I started to prep the cowl for welding and realized I forgot to get the metal. Oh well. Sanded the filler on the fender.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

My buddy Rus came up today and helped me knock out some things on both of my trucks. Thanks again Rus!

We got the temp gauge working on Choncho and I am relieved. I don't like running a motor without a temp gauge. I have never had a problem with one ever not working. It turned out to be the gauge in the dash cluster. Swapped it and presto. Out of all the things we did today this was the most important to me.

We did notice that my radiator has a leak around the neck of the top hose. I'll see if I can get it fixed. If I can't I'll be getting a new radiator.

We tried one other. The original had the needle stuck behind the stop so we changed it anyway. Didn't trust it. This one works now. We also checked the temp gauge in my cluster that I'll be using when its all painted and such. it works good. So, I can get it up to temp and not worry and I can move it around once I get my wheels and tires on it. I hate pushing the truck in and out.
