Hey guys! The Sunbeam is still in the body shop and I am in Israel (again)! Hopefully they make some decent progress on it while I'm gone... Hoping to wrap it up this summer and get back on the 'Hoe!

Sweet Build, that SunBeam is awesome as well. What did you use to cut the body panels?

Mr. Frizzle Fry I have just join the forum alittle while ago and have been reading thru your build. it is one of the builds I have enjoyed reading and the detail of the pictures was also great. I have just bought a burb and I just got and have a question? The rear sway bar who makes it or where did you get it from. Once again very sweet ride, thanks

Thanks. I used and angle grinder with thin cutoff wheel and a reciprocating saw where required.

Hello. Thank you. The rear sway bar was from an IROC Camaro. There are threads on this forum about Camaro rear sway bars.

Anything new or are we going to have to wait till you retire to get back to it. Just joking. But it truly is a great project. Hopefully you will get back at it.

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*

Hey FF, I've been checking out this thread and Rokcrln's as well and can't seem to get the idea out of my head now. That being said I have a question for you.

I'm in the process of building my 69 SWB and it is getting a custom frame. The factory SWB trailing arm frame will need a new home once I'm done and I understand that it is right around the same length as where you ended up on this project. Do you think I could reuse the SWB frame for this purpose? What would the challenges be?

Hate to say it, but I might have to let someone else take it to the next level. Not sure.. Really don’t want to let it go, but I need to consolidate. Hard to believe that the Sunbeam has taken me this far from finishing this beautiful beast. Damn Brits

Sad, but I get it. Too bad I don't have any cash burning a hole in my pocket. One of my favorite builds ... wonder if I have anything to trade? Oh wait, you want to consolidate =)

Edit: Hmm, I do have a set of 200S wheels in 5x5

Hey Frizzle. I actually have a 1972 GMC suburban that was shortened but I keep getting screwed with the shops I have been taking it to. It needs alot of work to undoe what the other shops messed up. Bad welding/ hack job etc. It just sits in my garage.

I have been wanting to get it to the point where it is like yours now but looks to be a long ways down the road to get it to that point.
