Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Hey guys I heard it from tha man himself that Hazel did indeed sell and is waiting to be picked by the new owner. He did mention that she will be staying in Texas. I wish him luck on his next build.

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

It's true, Hazel has been sold and is going to a good home and staying in Texas......I also sold Stella last week and she is going to Colorado, I sold the 71 swb 3 weeks ago and it went to California ...so I'm down to the two 68's that I've got tucked in the back of my shop and as of now I'm going to sit on them for a year or so while I work on other projects.........

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

I can't help but think about the wad of $$ he has in his pocket right now.

Keith with a wad of cash + another 68 to build = Dangerous situation. I'm anxious to see it. There was an LS9 on Craigslist the other day still in the crate for $18,500 really close to me the other day. Hint ..

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

If I were you I would build a texas speed engine that will whoop the ls9. It will also cost you a heck of a lot less money. Not taking away from what Chad is telling you because the ls9 is sick but you could save a ton of cash and make more power

Re: Hazel the older Sister....

I was just generally speaking .. LS9 (to me ) = top of the food chain. If there's something better out there then by all means. I'm with you 110%.

I have only seen one LS9 in my whole life and it was in a 97-98 Z28. So, I probably don't know enough about it to even be talking about it.

Not that I know of, but there are some spy photos of Tiffany (green 68) getting some attention. I'll let him decide if he wants to share.
