I don't know the tire sizes but the wheels are 22x8.5 and 24x15

A little progress for you

Got the engine mocked up and welded the mounts to the cross member. During mock up I saw I needed a little more room for the oil pan so I took care of that as well

Dig the tailgate "button" & the little weld stand/table.

It's amazing what can be done on a smaller/sturdy weld table.

Keep us posted on the progress.

Relocated the wiper motor to the cowl and modified the arms to work again

Since the front fenders are back on the shop floor it should be easier to sell them to me now

Can anybody running a dropmember tell me how the upper shock mounts locate? I can't seem to line it up with any factory holes. This is on a customers '72

It may have changed... I have the V3, tubular version.

But there is a "locator tab" on the shock mount. That tab goes into the old mounting hole, and you drill new holes for mounting the shock mount.

Hope that helps... I'll take pics if you need. I do have a 77, but should be roughly the same.
