What’s the drop on your ridetech suspension? Or is it on air?

It’s just their front/rear 4-link setup with coilovers. Not on air. From what Ridetech said, air does not provide any ride quality advantage over coilovers, just allows you to raise up and down easier. I’ll be drag racing with mine so I decided to skip air. Truck was actually this same height when I got it, but with a flip kit. So all this work truck looks the exact same lol.

It should look the same but ride better.

A 6" rear drop is about max regardless of the method. Beyond that amount starts requiring more severe mods if one wants to maintain the best ride quality possible.

Nice ride.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Don't think I ever posted here, but this is my latest toy ride. 1981 GMC High Sierra. I am 3rd owner. Until I got it 3 years ago, it had never been outside my home town. I picked it up with about 65K on it. Redid the 6 to have a bit more go last year.

Not sure if these posted before, where these special testing ground trucks with prototype engines? Eating up the drag strips, Hot Rod investigated.

Here’s an updated pic from a weekend truck show. A few big ticket things left to do and I’ll call it good for a while.
