Re: 1971 c10 stepside
Raul - Just sat here and read through your entire build and, while I am new to the forum and don't know you personally, I wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I've only been a member here for a few weeks but I'm constantly amazed by the support of the board members - whether it be for a build or lifting up tons of prayers for a personal need or concern. I truly hope you're doing well and look forward to seeing you back on the board. I found this thread by reading about the the work you and your friend, Al, did on his truck. I'm totally inspired by your generosity. Keep your head up! God bless you and your family! |

Re: 1971 c10 stepside
Oh man, my heart goes out to you. I've been blowing through this build, trying to catch up only to get to your tragedy. My Pa is 72 and has had a few blows in the last year that really took me off guard. I don't know what I'd do without him around. I'm truly sorry friend.

Re: 1971 c10 stepside
Not sure how I missed this thread but I love the truck. I'm building a similar setup but not as nice and sans hair dryers.
Took me most of the day during breaks of working on my stepper but I'm now caught up. Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost mine to cancer 8 years ago at the end of this month. My truck build is kind a remembrance of him and my grandpa. Can't wait to see the progress now that I'm following along.
