Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Rick to answer your question on the gas mileage I think we run pretty close in this aspect least same area haha. I get 10 city and 12 highway 350/330hp th350 trans with shift kit 15mph and then 40ish it shifts. 3:73 gears doglegger.

Rick, look into a 200r. It can be built just as strong if not stronger than a 700r and is the same length as a TH350

I already have a fresh rebuilt never used 700r with a shift kit installed.
All I need for the the 700r/posi/3.73 install is:
I need a tilt shift indcator lense for a 700r and a shorter drive line

As for the posi/3.73 install I need the correct crush sleeve, posi additive and 80w90 diff lube as well as guidance from a well expeienced individual lol I'm not scared to install the pinnion I'm just worried about how well it's going to be installed or last lol

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Well I messed with the fuel guage situation a little today... When I disconnect the brown wire at the tank it goes all the way to full and then when I reconnect it it just goes to empty.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Well I have bought a new sending unit and now when I disconnect the brown wire my guage reads full and when I reconnect it goes to empty... Took the sending unit out and grounded it, connected the brown wire and moved the floater and the fuel guage would move

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

I picked up a drive line today that will work with my 700r swap so now I'm down to:
11 quarts of ATF
And I need to figure out how the 700r overdrive cable connects to my 1406 eddy since it doesn't use the same cable as the 350

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

alright i finally have a computer at my disposal lol. I'm gonna take you guys wayy back to when i stopped posting pics and build up to current day. i have done a bunch of things like replacing the "s" plenum box under the dash and putting metal AC ball vents from a 65 wildcat in then the drop coils in the rear and the rear disc, the posi (currently still trying to make happen), I've installed an even better passenger fender I've installed a new hood since the last one got hit in the hit and run, I've been sanding off all the old nasty paint of the door and shooting them with a coat of primer and paint which made them look soo much better then before, I've had a flat and ended up turning the white lines inside and I've even replaced the thermostat and water pump recently, as well as getting parts together for the 7004r swap i hop you enjoy all the pics of those upgrades and installs as well as the random pics taken around town or at my college.
