No I didn't notice. I haven’t been hanging a round here much lately. I have been busy with building my wife's 66 Chevelle. Thanks for pointing that out though. Hope all is well with you and you haven’t blown out any more bags

Re: 58 GMC Project

You have a great build thread and a super nice truck for all your hard work!
if i may ask, what did you use for your weatherstipping for your one piece side windows? I just pick up a truck and it don't have any thing at all for weather stipping and no vent glass. I don't know what to run.
any advice would be great thanks

I bought the kit from Brothers Trucks. They are not the best weather strips, kinda cheap and my windows rattle. I can't remember who but there was someone here who made his own kit using much better weather stripping.

Re: 58 GMC Project

Check out the one piece window conversion thread in my sig. He explains about the weatherstrip in there. I've done the door mods and have the weatherstrip but havn't gotten around to getting glass cut so I can't tell you how it fits. Hope that helps.

Chevelle looks great.
66/67 are my favorite years. I had a 66 for a while but had to give it up after my back injury.

Perfect paint choice for the chevelle! My older brother had one kick myself for not buying it for $600. Oh well maybe someday I will find another deal

Yes I did sell it. It was a hard thing to do and let her go but it was time. Now I can focus on the Chevelle, it's coming home from paint this weekend. I sold it to a guy down in so-cal. I felt good about were it was going, he's a car guy that I know he will be taken good care of it. All of my friend in so-cal if you see it go up and talk to the guy, he's a good dude and he can tell you about the Cameo truck he's building.
