Re: SoCal checkin' in
Thanks bro. I'm definitely down to go to some of the the get togethers and maybe get some ideas from you guys. Right now all my weekends have been spent working on my truck but I can definitely make time. I live in Anaheim where the 5 meets the 91 so you guys aren't too far from me. Let me know when the next meet is and I will try and make it.

Its more of getting the info out there, calling some of the guys if you have their numbers because not everyone checks the post. Not hard at all. But when going to someones shop, other than getting permission or picking a date that works for most. Again not hard at all. |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Fixed my front passenger side wheel bouncing. After replacing the shocks, bad left front tire, balancing, alginments, I decided to take the rotor off.
My spindle nut was finger tight and there was some play in the wheel. Took off the rotor and my inner bearing was not up against the the spindle. The last 3/4 of an inch. Sanded down the spindle and it went on. Test drove the truck, the bounce is gone, now have to let the shocks break in a bit. Still have a rotation vibration, but that might be driveshaft. At least the wheel is fixed. DANG WHAT A PITA!!!! |

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Got my 67 back on the road this past weekend. Fixed the fuel pump, coolant leaks and bad grounds. Runs strong again.
Still waiting on a job I ran recently in the machine shop to finish up so I can order the Porterbuilt parts. Interested in the next meet, wherever that may be. Posted via Mobile Device |
