Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Another beautiful day and more truck time put in...

I started the day with a trip into town to pick up my alternator and get a Hybrid P/S Hose made… My P/S pump is a newer one with the o-ring fitting, and the P/S box is the older style Flare fitting… So after getting a hose made, here it is…

I then painted the connecting pieces on my Custom Emblems the coming body color to get the separation needed…
Here are 2 shots of the emblems…

IMG_2967 by ta2don, on Flickr

I then mounted the Alternator and decided to clean up the casing…

Then I painted the fan blades… the mounted it...

In the midst of the cleaning, the starter and solenoid was cleaned, checked and painted

Lastly, I cleaned up the Front Upper Shock Mounts, and installed all 4 shocks…

Next Weekend, the Fuel Tank, Pump will be installed, and the get the Motor Fired up...

Seeing other's keeps me inspired as well... I also have Clem's Get-together, that Rian and Martin are planning as part as their holiday, to keep me focused...

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Fuel Pump & Pre Filter arrived today...
Thanks again Markeb01 for the advice on pump and filter...

IMG_3051 by ta2don, on Flickr

I also found a high hump cover locally & free thanks to a post on a FB group… Picking it up this weekend… Picking it up just in case the NV3500 doesn't fit the low hump… The guy already moved the cab so the firewall piece is gone… Fabrication time if needed...

My wife has had a crucifix for decades that was made out of horse shoe nails. Nice to have something unusual and home made that was put together for a specific person:
