Those inner fenders look like they were meant to be there. Nice work! Great to see all that hard work paying off!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

i wonder if it would be simpler to just look wish bodymounts are the same between the 4x4 and the 2 wheeldrive , take off al the other mounts screw those where they belong on the tub , mount the tub on the 2 wheel chassis using the ones in the right position to center the tub crawl underneat and drill/centerpunch/draw the new holes for the mountingpoints that wherent at the right place should be more foolproof than try to measure the distances

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

If the Blazer tub weighed, oh, about 300+lbs less or if it was on a lift, that is exactly what we would do. But my friend has been doing this stuff for years and is very confident that it's gonna be easy. When it comes time to actually start cutting, we'll measure everything about 30 times and make sure there is no way it could be wrong and go from there.
The the fun stuff begins - Porterbuilt C4 Dropmember, LS1/4L80e - fun fun fun.

The only real difference I found was that the rear cab mount bracket was 1" lower on the frame with the 4x4 & C20/C30 parts vs the C10 parts. Otherwise they were identical.

The front measured about 0.1" lower on the 4x4 parts too but that could just be production variances between the 67 & 69 parts I was working with. They both shared the same six mounting point holes though so I swapped them out just to be sure.

The Blazer mounts may be a totally different animal though. I haven't compared them side by side with the truck pieces and it has been ten years since I owned a 67-72 Blazer so it isn't fresh in my mind either.

Sorry to hear you are having mfg delays. I run into them all the time and it sucks.
