Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

Well first off in response to your very 1st post, welcome to the boards. I think you'll like it here. Lots of good reading on just about anything related to these trucks you can think of. Be sure to use the search feature and ask away. You picked a good one to start with. The door, fender and hood look ok but the bed is in the dark, hard to tell. More pics! LOL we all like pics.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

the body is straight, except for two little boo-boos, a little crease on the front right quarter pannel, and a small spot on the rear right where somebody who didn't know what they were doing, tried bondo. I've only got pics of it in the dark right now, but im probbly goin to take some more tomorrow. The interior is just about finished. oh, and thanks for the welcome

I'm 16 tomorrow, I think there is a 13 year old too. And a few more 16 year olds. Lost of knowledge here! Spend $25 and become a supporting member!

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

Okay, I'm in. The '72 Super Cheyenne (grn/wht) is my daily driver and the '72 Cheyenne (grn/grn) is one I recently purchased that at the moment looks like it will be my parts truck.

Cool Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

I bought it 3.5 yrs ago. Didn't know squat. I mean, I couldn't tell a radiator from a hedder! Then it broke down, something small, don't remember what. Thats when I decided to pick up the service manual for the first time. It hasn't stopped since. This old truck of mine cast some sort of spell on me. Some nights I toss and turn waiting for morning to come so I can start on this or adjust that and what not. I'm looking for more power at the moment. Thinking about some heads for the 350 but not sure yet. Tough decision for me. I hope I can make enough money to do what I want to this truck. I really hope so. Its a 72 c-10 lb heater,, no/ac, no p/s, no p/b, 350/th350, edel cam-carb-lifters-rods-mani-fuel pump, 4-bolt 010, 883 heads, mallory uni no vac adv., more...
