Re: What did you do to your truck today part III

I mocked up where to put my gas fill. I am still undecided on this.

I like it. Keeps it out of the floor so you can fill up the tank if you have stuff in the bed. No need to cut the outside of the bed & spoil the bodylines.

Where did you get the filler or flip lid?

This would be great for my other truck. The one this is going into is kind of pretty.

Thanks. Went pretty good but my alternator is not charging so I need to replace it. But that's all I found so far.

I made a spare tire mount for the back of my Panel truck. And It has built in storage!

adjusted the floats on my Holley. Then had an electrical short under the dash while cranking the engine...good times! loose wire on the back of the cluster.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III

Been picking at it little at a time but finally got the torsion bars in today to complete the frame. All new ball joints, tie rods, control arm shafts, wheel bearings and seals and new wheel cylinders.. Everything was blasted and painted. Brake plumbing is next, but I will wait awhile before doing brake shoes and shocks. No reason for them to sit out in the weather. Time to get the engine together and cab ready.

It took me a few seconds to realize that the picture of your daughter in the back was an optical illusion, the top of the fenceline makes it look like to had retracible glass window. And it almost perfectly aligned.
