Do the research on what to do for hydronic heating for your area I guaranty if done correctly, you'll wonder how you lived without it.

I've done this before: 6 mil visqueen, 2" Styrofoam, 4" expansion joint for the perimeter, net wire fence (it's cheaper), to zip tie the tube to the netting (I'm going 8" on centers, with no run longer that 300") then the concrete, I recommend 6 bag mix to lesson the cracking. Stricke the concrete don't saw cut!!! up front costs is twice the cost of other heating systems but much cheaper to run. No more cold floors, and work when it is below 0, coldest I have experienced is -20. I know in the states we don't know the cold that you folks have in your neighborhood.

I'm running on, PM if you have any other questions. Your truck is fandamtastic.

Strong work.

Keep on keepin on

Thanks NC. I am planing on in floor heat, my brother put it in his shop.

No I am cutting the back wall out to make garage a drive though. Then putting barn doors on both sides.

Construction is planned to start end of July.

Re: My 52 GMC Build

So Fathers day turned out great. I took my dads car and my truck to a "Classics against Cancer" fundraiser. We lined up with 7 friends rides and made a day of it. It was the perfect fundraiser to bring my dads car too.
1st all our rides
2nd this chev was on a F350 chassis a drive train on air with my same motor and dually
3rd A very nice blown '34
4th I believe a '64?
5th you don't see Delorean's very often.

Re: My 52 GMC Build

Very cool, thanks for sharing! Great job on the "Most Radical".

I see he has a 12v flux capacitor, much less energy to run than 1.6 gigawatts!

Re: My 52 GMC Build

Have fun and enjoy it! Congrats on the award with your truck too! The new trans controller sounds killer. I have a 95 F350 with a 7.3 and when it dies it's getting a 6 cylinder. It would be cool to use the E40D but I don't know if I will or not. The adapters are still big money.

Ya making some stuff work together can be real tricky or expensive sometimes.

Haha, I love it! Different to hear the turbo whistling, I'd bet most in attendance had never seen a dually burn out quite like that before!

Re: My 52 GMC Build

One week today we hook the trailer to the GMC and head to Columbus Ohio for the weekend. 430 miles one way should be a great road trip. Also planning on stopping in at Summit racing on the way home.

Re: My 52 GMC Build

Thanks Ryan and Kees
My GF, dog CJ and myself had a great trip!! Went 335 miles on my first tank of 24gal pulling the trailer, works out to 14mpg. Ran into a few extreme thunder storms along the way. Only problem we had was my cooling fan died about 1/4 the way there. Piece of junk didn't even last 5500 mi. As long as we kept moving we where ok. Bought a new one at Jegs and put it in back at camp all good. The show was huge, over 6500 vehicles, no way you could see them all. Met a bunch of very nice people, had a lot of people say how impressed they where with my truck. Could be the nicest thing anybody had ever said. Stopped at Summit on the way home bought a locker for my Jeep. Wow what a toy store, between that and Jegs you guys in the US are spoiled it's a giant toy store for gear heads. We did just over 1000mi in 3.5 days and spent $180 on fuel. Truck is still running strong. Oh and I might marry my cruise control.
