You’re probably right but my bank account would say no. Pretty sure the wife would not appreciate another project coming home even if it’s nicer than the one I have now.

72 Super Cheyenne BBC $7000. Not mine. Looks to be priced reasonably. Especially considering the SPID which reads like everyone's dream truck. Too bad the factory radio disappeared.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/...807422017.html

Here I am selling my 1972 Chevy suburban super Cheyenne.
Big block 402 original
Has front and rear factory air conditioning
Tilt column
This thing has most options you could get back in the day.

I purchased this with the intentions of making it a cruiser and I have run out of time and other priorities take place.

Motor spins over freely and the engine is super complete. I have not tried to get it running.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

72 K20 with a ton of modifications. $29500. Not mine.

https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/...810578822.html

1972 Chevy Suburban Mostly Done Project, 3/4-ton 4WD. Has a 509HP LS3 Paired with a 4L80e, whole fuel system has been redone with Hyperfuel Fuel pump and braided lines, has a 205 transfer case with disc brakes on all 4 tires, all rust has been repaired, exterior paint been repainted (years ago) but could be buffed out. Everything on the truck has been rebuilt or is new, needs a few loose ends in the engine bay finished up and the interior needs to be buttoned up. It currently has a new headliner, new carpet, is fully dyna matted, back seats are installed, new pioneer head unit with new door and back speakers. The front seats need to be put in and the dash needs to be completed. Been working on this project for a little bit and really hate to see it go but would rather see it done then sitting in storage. I do have a lot of what's needed to finish the truck, I am moving out of my house and have nowhere to finish it. (Posting this for my father in-law if you are interested Email me and I will get you guys connected via phone for more information)

Another 72 $5000. Not mine. I wonder which of these last two is the better deal? This one with zero information as to its completeness or the running driving diesel oddity?

Titled 1972 c10 suburban rust repair completed.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

I put my panel on Craigslist a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't listed anything for sale there for many years. Yikes, I had to wade through a lot of crappy people and wanna be scam artists. But it did sell quickly (despite the weird ones) to the first fella that came and looked at it. He made it easy for me, not a BS guy, so he got a sweet deal on extras I hadn't planned on letting go.

Good to hear it went to someone excited about it. I saw it listed but the ad disappeared before I could post it here.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

72 K10 $38,500. Not mine. Apparently "AC not hooked up" means, most parts are missing.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...830349172.html

Selling my 1972 Chevrolet 3 door suburban C/K-10, factory four wheel drive custom deluxe. Has a 350ci motor with small cam, flowmaster exhaust, TH350 Automatic transmission, NP205 transfer case, 4" lift with 35" tires, weld wheels. Was a factory AC suburban (not hooked up). Runs great, drives good, has small imperfections its not perfect but its unique, back hatch has a little bubbling under paint in a couple of areas, a few dings here and their in the paint all in all its cool. Call for more details if interested. Asking $38,500 OBO

I also have a brand new built 454 big block that I had built by a local engine builder , had plans to put in the suburban, but plans have chainged. Engine build was almost $9k, for the right package deal I would let motor go with it. Call if interested and I can give specs on motor.

It's also listed at classiccars.com for $44,950. I was considering bidding but it feels really shady. With the rust bubbles and a/c missing It's not worth toying with the shady feeling.

Thanks for the offer, but something feels weird to me. Thus I'm not comfortable with this rig. I'll just keep my 95 burb.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

72 C10 $20k. Not mine.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/...865255748.html

1972 Chevrolet Suburban

"Mello Yello"

Last year of the three door.

Three on the tree trans with a V8 swap.

Odometer reads 64k.

Has about a ten year old lipstick/surface resto job on it. Also when motor swap happened.

Recent work is mostly interior.
All new:
-Carpet and pad

-Seat belts

-Door panels - stamped steel with diamond pattern-clear coated

-Front cup holders match door panel pattern-clear coated

-Radio/sound system and speakers- front kick panel 6" speakers, rear 6x9's in boxes, 10"sub, amp, retro sound Bluetooth head to match factory with USB ports. Looks good, sounds good.

-Seat covers. Seats are out of '94 suburban originally tan cloth now wrapped in black leather (soft grade vinyl). Could use some fine tuning but sit and look pretty good. Driver is motorized.

-Shocks and springs, brakes, and fresh oil.

Has surface rust under neath and some bubbles under the last paint over but nothing too deep or cancerous.

Has been a ton of fun for me and the family to work on and cruise but we are looking at buying property and need some cash.

Smiles and thumbs up everywhere you go.

Blue blockers included and buyer is required to take as part of transaction.

$20k obo.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

69 K10 $12000. Not mine. Bad engine, fried wiring rust, looks like the glove box is off another truck, no information on the rest of the drive train or the interior I don't think this is the one for me.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/...875497692.html

Act NOW. Selling my pet project, a 1969 Suburban 4 wheel drive 1/2 ton, extremely rare to find, buy it before I change my mind. It does not currrently run The wiring fried and I removed it, made a detailed diagram to build a new custom wiring harness.. Brand new Les Schwab B F Goodrich Mud terrain 31/11.50X15 ties on powder-coated old school aluminum wheels. Hubs, 4 speed manual. This is the consumate old school off-road machine I could find, and if you don't buy it soon, I will keep it and trick it out. Just have too many projects right now and am putting all of them up for sale. 2007 Dodge Ram MegaCab 4 wheel drive with 5.7 hemi gas, 1994 Ford F-150 2 wheel drive, nearly new tires, incredible body and paint, interior very nice. my bike is sold. 2013 Ford F-550 super duty cab and chassis with fiberglass shuttle bus body to build one's own motorhome with Tirton V-10 with Rousch propane conversion. Whatever sells, is gone, whatever does not sell I will keep and finish.

350 V-8 with one lower compression cylinder.
Make no bones about it, this is a project, needs body work, steel. I was going to and may still, build the body panels from carbon fiber.
Calls please: three six O, nine O 1, six three to one. May consider an interesting trade of lesser value.

1971 Chevy K-10 suburban 4x4 It’s an amazing turn key reliable daily driver you can hop in this truck and drive coast to coast no problem in the fast lane since it’s equipped with a later Nv4500 5 speed trans and 308 gears front and rear. This truck flys down the freeway going 80 MPH at 2500 RPM. I just had the original carb rebuilt and tuned property, new valve cover gaskets and intake gaskets. Electronic fuel pump, the clutch feels great and the engine has plenty of power. Hickey enterprises axel trusses front and rear. Power steering, factory bucket seats with console. Tilt steering and factory tac. Hydroboost steering/breaking. All the lights work everything on the truck functions. Brand new tires. Just did the spark plugs and changed the oil. Ready to go located in Hillsboro OR.little dirty it’s a daily driver and I just drove it up from California. Yes there’s rust but thankfully it’s all down low in the rockers.

68 GMC on Bring a Trailer. Not mine.

1968 GMC Suburban C1500 is a running and driving project that is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in light blue and white over blue upholstery. Additional equipment includes 15″ wheels, a receiver hitch, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2025, this C1500 Suburban is offered at no reserve with a Washington title.
