Does anyone know what the GM Option code for the woodgrain vinyl is?

The build sheet for my 78 says "64W VINYL GRAIN" it doesn't have it now but i'm wondering if maybe it did?

I was looking into the same thing ! I came up with 1154211 & 1154325, I looked for it and I thought I'm luck when I found one roll for $150 !! and when I get it I was disappointed because this roll not enough even for one half side of my truck ! I guess I'm not lucky after all ! if some one have any idea about anyother GM code please let me know. btw the roll I bought is up for sale .

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

This is my truck when I got it.

After a 6" lift and some 38's.

After the addition of some more stuff after some "persuasion" from the local police force:

Finally got the correct grille:

Finally, after 3" more lift and some other minor mods, this is where it sits now.

I think it looked awesome until you added the body lift. I hate body lifts!

IMHO, it looks better with the flares and mud flaps. Great looking truck! Wish mine was 4x4.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

I should have put the color in the description.

It is:

2009 Ford Tuxedo Black Semi Metallic.

The paint is not cheap, and I don't even know if it available yet. Some of the ingredients came from Japan and after the tsunami there was a shortage of them.
My stuff was painted last fall so it didn't affect me.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

Thanks guys. I'll eventually move the bumpers up to make it less noticeable, but the 38's chewed up my fenders once while I had it bound up, so I opted for more lift rather than less tire. ky_kid, those flares are the Bushwacker Cutout flares. They're a pain to install and you better not mess up while doing it, but they allow you to fit bigger tires without lifting higher. They're expensive though, about $100 per flare. I got them on craigslist for $300, it was a decent deal.

How were the 38s and 6 inch just driving, not off roading. Looking to get 38s under my '87 K25 (after I get an engine in it). I'm not sure if I want a 6 or 8 inch lift.

If you don't want to trim, get a narrower 38 than I did. A 38x12.50 would probably work with the proper backspacing and a 6" lift. Mine damn near cleared 38x15.50's with only a 6", but I had to take about a half inch off the front and rear corner of each front wheel well. It wasn't very noticeable at all, but I still felt bad doing it. Good thing my springs were so stiff too, because if my truck had ANY suspension flex at ALL, my fenders/inner fenders would be ripped to shreds. For just on-road driving, 6" will clear narrow 38's, but I'd honestly overall suggest an 8" kit. By the way, get new springs. I used blocks and an add-a-leaf in the rear of mine, and it rides so hard that it broke the add-a-leaf in half. I'm assuming something is wrong.
