Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
I went with the rubber fenders on front because we use a lot of ATV trails with trees in close quarters and didn't want to have to worry about banging a fender into a tire. I have some old trailer mats out here I'm going to cut up and make bigger fenders for it....it don't take long to get real muddy or covered in manure if you happen to be moving cows!

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Here's my current work in progress, the day I brought it home this summer.
Back story, I traded this thing for an '87 Yamaha sled and a bit of cash. 68,000 original (hard) miles, It runs, drives, t-case and trans shift alright, but she needs serious work. It was a Manitoba farm/work/plow truck for over 40 years which explains all the damage and lack of rust. Will post progress as it comes along this winter. Oh yeah I found the tailgate at a local junk yard off a '70 K10 that was in a serious rollover, it was way to cool to leave behind.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
The old blue K20 is a good fixer uper, cool old truck, extra nice seat too. Now you have to make the rest look like the seat to match.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Got a donor box that's in very good shape. The box on the truck now is totally screwed, the floors toast and the sides aren't worth my time to repair. Trucks getting the locking diffs from the orange Chevy you can see in the background of the pics.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Is that a front bumper push bar in the back of that truck? I'd like to get my hands on one or at least some real nice pictures so i could use them to try and make one.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
I find them cheap. Time.. is another story.
I've owned a few GM trucks, mostly 4x4's . More like a GM nut over here. Even a few 2wd things. The Nova is a Buddy of mine. I got to drive it a few times. This pic is at Top Truck Challenge in Hollister Hills Last edited by Jsfucttruck; 12-23-2014 at 04:44 PM. |

Too bad the Thorndirds never worked well. I became a Sx Fan there shortly.
I miss that truck. All I got left is the frame and firewall. |
