Hope she gets to feeling better George. My stepdad went last week to the hospital for the same thing. He had a inner ear infection causing the vertigo.

Re: 1968

I have suffered with Vertigo numerous times in the past in the last 7 years, all the Dr.s say is do eye exercises and maybe try laying on your back then roll to one side and get back up again. Its been difficult at times but somehow i have been able to manage it so far.

I wish your wife well and hope she to finds ways to cope, i know its not fun to deal with.

Re: 1968

Today I sanded the rain gutters and primed them for the seam sealier.
I also applied the seam sealier to the rain gutter.
I repaired the weld burns on the drivers side door. It was welded from the inside for the mirrow brackets.
also above the fender badges was a small spot that needed some love.

The seals came out real nice. I am really happy the way they came out.

Re: 1968

You knew there were two different starters, right? To go with the two different diameter flywheels?

I was told that. I ordered the right flex plate with the starter. It works real good. I am happy with the results.

Re: 1968

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading about your Patches project. I have a 72 C-10 Suburban that I am slowly working through that has some of the same issues you have dealt with. I had a lot of "aha" moments while reading your posts and the replies to them!

most of these trucks have about the same issues. But we keep grinding and cutting and welding and one day we will have a real nice driver/show truck. good luck with your build and God bless

Re: 1968

Today, I painted the pass side rear fender. It came out rather nice. I am planning on painting the other fender Friday.

The weather is a little cool for painting but I cranked up the heater and shot some color on the fender.
When I get the fenders mounted on the bed I am going to under coat the inside of the fenders and the bottom of the wood bed.
