Re: PO has me PO'd
More or less. There are a few pieces that are removable like the rear fascia, doors etc. You can see a production deck lid bolted on the gauge to check for fit accuracy. Definitely a cool piece, and definitely the most expensive Camaro in the world.

Re: PO has me PO'd
Wow! I've seen this thread for years and have avoided reading it even though I like to keep up with the local builds. It has so many posts I knew that once I started I would be sucked in and I was right. I read the entire thread over the last few nights and it was a great read. For a guy who doesn't seem to enjoy electrical work you sure accomplish a lot of it. I was hoping for the big payoff at the end. Maybe a pic of the Jimmy on a dirt road or parked next to your favorite fishing stream. I did not expect a Camaro. Lol. Great build, great documentation and looks like you made some great friends. Good luck in the future. Now I can just watch for the updates.

Re: PO has me PO'd
The engineers at GM, in their infinite wisdom, decided to put one bolt diagonally inside. Sure makes it easy to install runners. I'm thinking 15-20 Ft/ lb. to install

Sorry for the delay, but kitchen is almost done, and wanted to start ordering parts for my hydro boost system. First step is to determine which M/C you have, mine is considered deep early, as per pic on top of plenum

Re: PO has me PO'd
The plate is nice, much better than the steel one I got, which was a bit thin and crude, to the point I had another one machined. Still steel though, I needed it thicker so I could countersink the flanges on 3/8" rivetnuts.

Anyone need OEM brackets and linkage for power brakes? Also, new brake booster After I get some flange nuts, I plan to run a bead of dumdum around the alum. To keep out water, every bracket I have taken off so far has had rust behind it Scorpio, great idea on the rivnuts, one of these days I'll get around to spending the money to buy that tool WIN_20160228_043230[/

The tool is about the size of a decent size set of bolt cutters. There is also smaller ones more like a typical pop-rivet tool that do #4 thru #12. For either of these you need a nose piece and a draw stud for each size you want to do. |

Re: PO has me PO'd
Don't know what's going on, but got the lines threaded. Don't use a wrench, unless you have 3-4 threads started by hand
I can only post up on the quick reply Loosen all brackets and mounting bolts and use a pipe wrench WIN_20160304_111823 by
