Is Super Burb a keeper, or are you going to send it down the road when its finished?

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

I think I've about got the AC figured out, will know for sure in the morning. I've been buying an purchasing a bunch of miscellaneous small parts and one big purchase. I've been working with Dakota Digital on a new set of gauges for the Burb. Will be about 4 weeks before they are done. Hopefully they will turn out the way I want. I also got the auxiliary transmission cooler mounted and the supercharger heat exchanger mounted. All I need to do now is finish running the lines.

How do you get Dakota Digital to work with you? Every time I called and asked about different things from what they offer, they just tell me that this is what they offer, I can either buy it or not. So I never did...

I'm not sure Steven. I just started emailing them and asking (bugging...). Text me what you were looking to have done and I can ask my contact there.

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

The last time I tried, I was wanting to get them to make some VHX gauges that looked better in our trucks with either green or white lighting, but you already convinced them to do that with the Farm truck.

BTW, I'm definitely not ordering gauges until I see what you do with the burb. I'm leaning towards 2 other brands for the Blazer and the truck so far, though.

Very nice Rob! Back when DD first came out with the VHX cluster, I called and asked if they could make my VHX cluster have a 5k tach they said no. At that time they had probably been out a year or better. But, they do it now. I wasn't to pleased about that.

I understand where you are coming from. I guess they just got tired of me bugging, .

A little more progress, I think I have the A/C figured out, now I just need to drill the holes in my painted firewall........ Here's some pics of the what I figured out with the a/c and some of the aux tranny cooler and the supercharger heat exchanger mounted.

Put me on the list potential buyers if you ever get bored and move on to another project.

Just Beautiful.

Thanks Doug, I appreciate it. I really enjoy your thread also, I don't post much, but I "lurk" over there a lot, . I hope I'm cruising this year. The Burb has my full attention, but I don't plan on rushing anything. Take care,

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

Some small progress. I finally got the supercharger inner cooler and H2O pump mounted and plumbed. I've been trying to get all the wiring harnesses integrated and sorted out. I should have taken better notes, guess that's what happens when you walk away from a project for 6 years.....
