No problem at all.

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC

Got the bed back on without incident or scratches. Also got the glovebox cover reassembled. New gaskets and bumpers should keep it in good service for a few more years.
Ran out of light and was the best pic my phone could take. Thanks to austin and the engine hoist it was pretty simple.

thks i am using the pads, and for some reason yrs ago i welded up the holes on top of the bed side rails, so i will use the holes on a few cross sills and lift as a unit...

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC

I hate the short nights. Just gets dark so fast. Will get better pics tomorrow.

Templates arrived too. Thanks a bunch.
You should be fine going through the cross sills as long as the floors still fairly solid.

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC

Late off work and other house projects to do, but enough time to install the glovebox assembly. Really considering a white insert on the glovebox door and door panels to break up the color some.

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC

Ill hold off on any two-toning until the carpet and seat is installed. I want to see how it looks in 1 color with the rest of the ok interior.

Worked on the grill some last night too. Decals will go on this weekend and it'll be done.

Just my opinion, but I think that the glovebox needs a black accent to mimmic your gage cluster...Nice lookin BTW!

Digging the build, nice work! That gauge cluster is slick. Agree on getting it on the road and just taking the glove box door off at your leisure to accent. I know you must be missing and can't wait for the new and improved ride. I was thinking you could cut a white or black glove box cardboard template to see how it would look once the interior is all straight. Really like what I'm seeing nice job,,,

Thanks and sorry for the delayed response guys. Been in SC the last 3 days on a hunting trip
.....black seems to be the best option too.....but we'll get the rest installed 1st then deal with it.

Thanks for the kind words. I think a black and a white template would be a good idea. I could tape them and see what looks best.

And yes......I'm past due for a drive in my truck.

Nice score on the clock....and yeah...I'll take the templates if you don't want them. Just regular mail is ok though.....don't have to send priority. I have the factory accessory book, but it doesn't have all the templates. And I'll check on the AC template tonight for you. Been in SC hunting since Friday.
