Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Drove up to Mccall for my birthday. Still lots of snow and the lake is partially frozen. The picture quality isn't that great, I forgot to turn the flash off on my phone but they look like photos from the early 90s so kinda cool.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Thanks Z71.. Actually the sun going down when the pics were taken is doing the paint a big favor. It's original paint so time has done its thing. It does have some patina on the hood and top which I like. Anyway, I appreciate the compliment.

Love it! I really like the wheels and how they contrast with the blue!
I need something like them for my blue 87! |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Got it home, and a week later it’s lowered and did some paint restoration (at least my best version of it). Still gotta figure out what to do about wheels &, maybe, tires.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Thanks guys, 3” spindle and 3” djm drop spring in front, rear is just a flip kit with no c-notch, then belltech nitro shocks all around. Started with 2” springs in front but I need some rake so I went to 3”. Tires are 255/60 front and 275/60 rear.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Here's my 82 that I painted in 2011. It's been outside ever since and I have to say the NAPA paint has not faded one bit. Same with the Upol Raptor bed liner. I stopped plowing with it last year.

New’ish wheels... (truth be told, I bought them in 2009 and still had them on a shelf in the shop)
