Wow, it sure has come a long way since I last read through the forum. Looking great! Sorry about the paint issues, but it will sure be nice, and worth it in the end.

Re: Columbus..the 1957 IH 4x4..
Had a hr or so today, so I got the doors buffed...uneventful and boring...
One thing I've been putting off is respraying the bedliner to fix the mess I made with it..so I guess that's next.. The bed is still on the rotisserie ,and in my paint cave covered with plastic...I've been working around it painting all the other parts, but to do the cab, I've got to swap the bed and cab/frame positions in the shop.. So if I get the bed complete, I can put it on the 2post, and when I get done painting the cab 12x, hopefully I can just roll the frame under the bed and set it down for the last time...

Re: Columbus..the 1957 IH 4x4..
Thanks Dale, John, and Russell...
I would love for the cab paint to be one and done....but I'm not gonna hold my breath...Haha Russell, your Ebay link dont work....but I've got plenty of other projects to work on.. I've got a 1/2 built airplane hanging from the shop ceiling, my AD truck out back in the side shed was/is next on the build list, and a house that needs built if lumber prices ever become reasonable again... on top of all that I'm gonna have to repaint my C30 due to some idiots hit and run

Sorry the link didn't work for you, it worked fine for me. Any way, maybe it's better that it didn't work for you, might be too much temptation. I'm not sure why I love this thing, It's tempting me too..

Re: Columbus..the 1957 IH 4x4..
As far as the other projects go, the airplane is wrapped in plastic and hanging from the shop ceiling , over my temp paint booth, the AD is buried in the leanto shed, with alot of its parts in boxes..the house project has gone only as far as getting the foundation done..

Re: Columbus..the 1957 IH 4x4..
I remember those! IIRC they typically had Rotax power and folding wing option? Are you planning to go steam gauges or glass panel?
I've been out of the sport aviation loop for many years but a friend at work is slowly inching me back in again. He just bought a Pitts Model 12 that I've been able to play a small part in a few updates and upgrades. (machined parts to convert it to auto plugs and wires and keep things neat and tidy.) Sorry for the hijack.

Re: Columbus..the 1957 IH 4x4..
they had several engine options (rotax. hirth ) you could go with...but I'm probably gonna go with a engine from Viking out of fla...I had originally bought a Yamaha for it...they told me it would work...it didn't...
yes it is a folding wing and probably gonna use glass panel instruments... what really sold me on them was the STOL...about 150ft

Greg,
Not sure where you ended up on your floor mat but while surfing today I came across this one. Not even sure if it is correct but thought I would forward the link "just in case" cause I know I would never find it again. https://class-tech-cars.com/ebay-mot...eatured&page=2
