Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
The hinges look great and I can only imagine how much better the hood operates with those on there, I bet it even closes the way it should every time!

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
I had someone try to buy my truck and I got really close to letting it go. since then I have been thinking of what else I could do to my truck. Of course I could pick it apart as there are some small details that I would like to do. so with this in mind those of you that have followed my build since day one I would like to see what wouild you guys suggest that I add or redo!!
you ARE NOT going to hurt my feelings in anyway shape or form so how about it guys bring on the suggestions....

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Make it more reliable and more fun to drive- whatever that means to you. For me, it's handling/braking upgrades and modern drivetrain. That is, if you wanna drive it- if you want a show queen- lay it on the ground. Both? Porterbuilt time

thanks for the suggestions keep them coming. things that I am considering at this moment * Re upholster the seat in black leather * Redo the door panels * Replace the bed wheel inner tubs (Mine have dents on them) * Billet inner door handles, vent window handles and crank handles *Radiator filler panels (Not really sure about this one I dont know if I really like them yet) *Smoot front chrome bumper (Waiting for the rear one to be available as it does not seem it is) then replace both.

The stereo is nothing more than a radio and two speakers. being that I still have the gas tank inside the cab I am limited to what I could add in there plus i have all the electronice for the air ride controller under the seat. thanks for the suggestions........

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
I love the way your engine looks I dont think this truck need's LS. But a thumbs up on the leather, I'm thinking Ostrich outlines . But first under the hood I think it needs some sheetmetal to clean up the gap between the top of the grill and the radiater support.I think this would really set the new hinges off.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Al, just let me adjust the shifter for you!
I think a radiator filler panel with the billett mounts I already mentioned would be nice. Get a plain one and have it custom engraved! Maybe Big Al in a bowtie?? |

Been searching for a while but not luck. The one that Rene just got would fit the bill perfect. Keep your eyes on the lookout for me guys. Agreed that definetly a 67-68 would fit the bill perfect.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
I know where a 68 cst, swb fleet is sitting right now. Dark blue / white.
An old man has it and refuses to sell. It has about 4-5ft high weeds around it. Posted via Mobile Device
