I know man. Sometimes they show up for days.

Let's get caught up to present:

Cooling lines installed. Some of the gates shrink clamps too.

The S2000 MC that ultimately didn't work due to failure to bleed:

Had set up some 90* fittings and a bracket for the reservoir to mount in this orientation:

Clutch slave cylinder flex line bracket:

Key oreintation flipper 180*

Reduced width and primered (no pic of it installed...) :

Removed broken bolt from rear:

Success:

Wilwood MC installed and BLED!!! (FYI the nut on the firewall above is for the fuse panel and will be relocated to the inside/welded in before paint)

Rack ready to go in:

...and back on her wheels:

Just waiting for a clear day now... Better/outside pics to come!

Thanks, I'm "theastronaut" on TheSamba too. Are you're talking about the '55 International build on here? I don't remember posting it over there, other than mentioning that I was restoring it at work.

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...

looking at the pics i kinda wondered if you couldve made a flange adapter that mount off the bulkhead and would rotate the 2000 cilinder 45 degrees and use a little longer pushrod in it

Sure I could have done a 45* adapter (and another one to get to the full 90*) But then the lines would not have reached, and there would have been more adapters/fittings...

So this was the cleaner way to go short of pulling the engine and making new lines.

Couldn't have asked for better! The thing just wants to freakin take off!!! Ride is not a stiff as I expected, pretty nice/sport ride. Handles really flat so far.

Sounds pretty good to me. It's no V8 but at higher revs it reminds me of a Cosworth.

Sweet. Let me know if you need any help with the painting and detailing. I just got a new job at a metal fab shop doing painting and powder coating.

im wondering if you have any hillclimb competitions there , that little car might be pretty competitive in a "run wat you bring" hillclimb if its on slicks
