Re: 198Plus build
Well I had a change in plans with the color of my truck, I'm going black with the prowler orange on the trim and interior. These pics are with three coats of DC 4000 clear with no buffing. Now we will wet sand and then add three mores coats of clear.........

Re: 198Plus build
Very nice. Why not paint the bed with the front part on? I did mine the same way. Now I'm wondering how to put it together with out messing up the paint on the front bed bolts?

Re: 198Plus build
Thanks....It makes it easier to wet sand front and inside bed panels, plus I'm using stainless steel bolts in the front panel.

Haven't been on the site for awhile, but noticed this photo as I was surfing your build.
That looks like Mt. Shasta and the train tracks that run thru the town of Weed California. Man I wish I had those vehicles in my backyard....!

Re: 198Plus build
Here's some better pics of the clips for the side moulding. I couldn't find the big spring clip, but the small one is the same style.

Yeah I love the detailed work you put into your build. I wish I was one state closer so I could bring you my bed to have it done to save me some time on mine.

Re: 198Plus build
Aw... just find a buddy or two and put it on a trailer and have a great road trip weekend.... good quality work in a body shop is hard to find.... shoot, most guys probably blow more money on booze in a weekend than it would cost to road trip your bed over to his shop....LOL...LOL....
