Its a K30 3+3. It is 4wd(Hence the K). Has 22.5 Alcoa wheels with semi tires. a 6" lift. A Cummins conversion with dual 6" mitre cut stacks. Needs more?

WOW .... CUCV2 that truck is in way above condition for a Vt. truck .... nice power/trans adder. That must be a pleasure to drive on the highway.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

As long promised, here's my $1200 driver/future RV tow rig. 454, TH400, NP205 it has gooseneck in the bed with a 6 prong hookup, I'm gonna up it to a 7 prong. The 454 has an Edelbrock 750 and Performer intake, I live at 8,500 ft so I'm thinking about going to a 600 carb, maybe a holley. Already replaced the seat with a stock bench, looks much better. The longer I have it the more I love her, she's put my old '66 on the backburner for awhile since I can justify this one as a family investment since I can use it to haul all 3 kids and a camper and the '66 is just a standard cab C10.

Ratty 46

We drove the truck out from AZ last Summer. Needed a break from working on rusty trucks. The only changes I have done to it are new BFG AT tires that are one size up from the ones in the pic. We got 17 mpg on the AZ to VT trip. It does ride nice for what it is.

Future plans are to make it a SRW truck and put a short box on it with some H2 rims and tires.

Could you post some pics of the gear vendors and how it is mounted? I'm assuming you've got the figure 8 pattern np205?

Finally a truck that looks like something I'd drive! We're on the same page I think, I got mine so I could tow the camper with all three kids, instead of taking two vehicles since my other 1 ton doesn't have the room. Also because I wanted that bodystyle. Mines an 82, but I'm changing the ugly nose to an 87, the 85-87 is by far the prettiest grille. I paid $1350 for mine, so far I've spent less than $2000 total and it's almost ready for paint. Put a used bed and 4 doors on it, , lift and tires, new flexplate and battery. 28k on the motor, purrs like a kitten, quietest 454 I've ever heard. I might do the Performer cam/intake/carb combo, I've had great luck with Edelbrock carbs. I personally won't use a Holley for anything but a doorstop.
I bought a 4 inch suspension lift and 235/85 tires, because with no lift and 215/85s it looks like a lowrider. I love how your truck sits, can you tell me what lift and tire size you have? I'd be very happy to get mine at that same stance. (havent got the lift or tires on yet)
Also, I'm hoping to pick up a 65 c10 very shortly!

This is a 1985 Chevy C30 was 454 Turbo 400 Western hauler Convertion
forsale 500$ only rust is in the driver side rocker. has fold down rear seat that can be a bed wood interior and nice sunvisor.
Im looking to buy this thing. its in booneville, missisippi
the cab i bought to replace the old had alot of hidden rust and is pretty much also junk

A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.

Cool find GMT. I'd buy it just for the accessories that are on it.

I honestly don't know the lift on the truck since it came to me that way, my 454 runs like crap and has no power for running hills. I've looked into rebuilding it but for the same cost I think I can do a 8.1 swap which would work better with the altitude anyway. Thanks for the complements, I love my redneck ride, it's gonna get a rustoleum white paintjob at the end of the summer.

I'm doing the rustoleum paintjob on my 97 k3500 right now, in black. When that's done I'm going to do the 82, but I can't make up my mind. I should do it black because it was mostly black already, so all four door jambs are black, but I really want to do it either yellow with white roof and side stripe, or red with off-white roof and stripe.
