I ordered my Porterbuilt hinges today.

I also got my intermittent wiper kit in also. I ordered one for each truck.

Where did you get that from? That box looks huge for an intermittent wiper setup? It's definitely a nice thing to have though. I've used mine a few times already. It's much nicer than having to turn the wipers on and off over and over again.

Board member Putter has an intermittent wiper kit. I don't know if that's where Chuck got it or not.

Putter's an awesome dude and told me the greatest Ford joke ever.

90% of Fords are still on the road today, the other 10% made it home.

I got these from twouvakind. He is selling them in the parts section. I'm not sure about the mounting yet. It is a large box for fitting.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I made two steps forward and one step back.

I got the drivers side fender welded up and ready for a skim coat of filler and decided to see what was leaving the coolant on my intake. It has a little show up every now and then right by heater hose thats on the intake. I started it up and let it get warm and noticed the small holes that are in the side of the hose is where a leak is. These look like they are from the manufacturer of the hose. The holes are every 2'' apart all down the hose. Just saw one leaking but I think that this will be more of a problem in the future so I'll change it out. Not sure if thats where its coming from thats on the intake but it is a leak.

I hate leaks btw. lol

Fender looks good! That hose leak is crazy, I wonder why they made it that way..

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I don't know but I bought a lot of it thinking I would need the 5/8'' for Tontos vintage air eventually. I'm going to look for my receipt and take it back.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I think when you unhook that piece, it will be the approximate right size to whip an auto parts store associate with. (I know the holes probably aren't their fault, but you might need to persuade them for a refund)

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

coming in late to this. are you using a 67 grille or the 68 to 70 grille and can anyone tell me is there any difference in the grilles other then the fender and hood trim from 68 to 72?

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Glad you made it. I'm using a 68-70 grill. The 71 and up have different indentions and are painted black inside those indentions. 69 and up have the larger brow moldings and a chrome top bar. 67-68 has a painted top bar and the brow molding is smaller. The 67-68 also have the slant back hoods similar to the 67-68 Chevrolet. I may be wrong on some of this so somebody can chime in and correct me if needed.

I will be taking it easy for a few days. I fell down my stairs going to the basement. Banged up my knee and sprained my wrist. Gotta stop drinking. j/k.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Did you fall for real? I didn't know if the j/k was all inclusive, or just for the drinking part. Those stairs are treacherous.
