Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

If you guys are looking for pillar pods. Check this thread out:
http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...ghlight=pillar
I'm trying to get a run of them made. We're shooting to get triple's made right now. Cost should be $75 shipped. Post in that thread and vote in the poll if you are interested in one or more. Thanks Ryan.

What good are you? Sort of looks like Ohio plates.

I'm not a huge fan of the color, but the whole execution of the truck just negates that point. I love the way they took the later truck, but painted it to look like a '70s truck. The wheels. The stance. Everything is just spot on. I would LOVE more pics of that thing.

Seriously, there's nothing to see. The dash pad is trash, the seats are faded and the driver's is ripped, the floor console is gone... Depressing, really. If only I had the money to do what I want with it...

Yeah, it needs a 73 grille. The wheels are awesome.

Nah. I still prefer the '81-'87 style myself. It just looks wierd and cool at the same time with the paint done up like that.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

anyone know of a simple way to shop pictures so I can decide on a color scheme? I've changed my mind about thirty times already, I'm getting close to painting the truck, leaning toward all black because my door inners and jambs are already black. But I like two tone, I also like white roofs. I have red interior so I'm a little limited. Red and white two tone would look good too. Of course I don't think the side stripe I like was commonly combined with a matching roof, usually it was the lower body that matched. Wish I could make up my damn mind!

Re: that copper and white dually with the white wheels, I am either going to paint mine white or more likely black, depending on the color I choose for the truck. I've got later model chrome centercaps and 16 inch stainless rings. I saw one once with black painted wheels, rings and pointy chrome lugnut caps that looked awesome. The trim rings make all the difference.

I've thought about doing that myself. I've seen it. I like it. Even black wheels with just the chrome center caps and no rings would look good too.

Or, you could do black wheels with the black late model centers...

Yeah. Basically just bolt-on center caps. Put the wheels on, put the caps on over them and then put the lugs on.
