970 c10 decent truck runs drives needs a little work it’s 50 years old. I have header back exhaust but don’t like the fit new headers. Stereo 4 speakers brand new tires 275 60 15. From discount tire needs gearbox couple other things. It’s 50 years old can you drive it to New Mexico idk it’s 59 years old. Looks better in pics but overall it’s ok. The truck is very solid, it’s not a show truck but it does not have much rust at all. it does have a few imperfections in the paint, does have new seatbelts, New dash, new seats, new carpet new wheels and tires, new battery. Does not smoke, fires right up and drives very smooth down the road. Does not have AC, heater works fine. This truck was built as a sleeper, the looks you see are 95% what I wanted, I have a few few small things that need done, but all of the underbody stuff is as I wanted it. The basics of this truck are, from front to back; A new radiator and hoses, new 383 engine rebuild that dyno's at 487 hp with a torq peak at 469 at 4,800 rpm, new motor mounts, professionally built 4L60E Auto transmission with a Compu Shift System and shift kit installed, front and rear differentials checked, with an oil change out, Transfer case is completely rebuilt, suspension is redone with a slight lift added, new chrome in places, seat recovered and padded, new front carpet, new duel exhaust, and much more. The truck drives out very nice and is very reliable. I am just thinning the herd so am putting this one up for sale. I will entertain serious inquiries and offers, but please no low ball offers. I have well north of 20K in this truck and does not have to be sold. I have a clean title for it.
