Definitely will be following this one!! I'm wanting to do the DJM kit as well, hoping you'll get some good pics during the install and see accurate measurements for where the kit actually sets the truck.

The kit actually comes with a diagram for you to take measurements and write them down. I'll post a pic later of the sheet.

That is my plan. I just checked my tracking number and it shows all other parts are delivered at my front door! It will be somewhat a challenge as my wife will be out of town this weekend leaving me to tend to our 4yr old and 6 month old sons. The 4 yr old could hand me wrenches but the 6 month old will need a little more attention than that! lol. Not sure how much I'll get done.

Re: Project Platinum C10

Hopefully I can get all this installed this weekend! For some reason the front passenger side measured 1/2" higher than the rest.

I feel your pain. We have twins that will be six months on the 18th so it's tough to get anything done when my wife isn't home . I can't wait for them to be able to help dad out. Good luck man. Maybe he'll be having a growth spurt and sleep all day for you

Ahhh!!!! I'm anxious to see this truck DROPPED!!!!

Glad you got all the goodies man!

It's funny I was looking at your trucks front fender, that piece that's bent in is the same piece that's bent in on my truck, makes me wonder what causes it to happen.

Are you talking about on the bottom of the fender between the wheel and the door? I have never noticed it until you pointed it out. lol

Yep that's exactly the spot I'm talking about, don't worry I didn't really recognize mine either I thought it might have been the way the fender was, and one day I did something and I noticed it was bent and said self, I'm not sure that's supposed to be like that

I have a whole front clip that I bought because I needed the hood. I will check the fenders out on it. I am hoping to get the truck to paint withing the next couple weeks.

Nice!!!! I'm anxious to see that paint job. Yeah mine's bent in pretty bad if you check in my thread one of my most recent ones you can see it's bent pretty good, I'm trying to track down another fender just to cut the piece off that I need and then weld it, no need to replace it, if the rest in good condition.

Yeah I saw this guy on CL selling the whole front clip of his truck our generation, for I think $400 and it was primer black. Really tempted to buy it, I'm like you though I need a new hood.

I did! So that's how they determine the drop. What adjustments (if any) do they suggest you make if your suspension is not even before installing the drop kit? could be due to one of the shocks being more worn out than the other, or spring etc..

Just read through your thread, thought I'd class it up a bit with some Oklahoma.

Helluva buy, nice job! Looking forward to see your build pics. I like your paint scheme idea. If you're getting rid of your rallies shoot me a PM.
