Re: What did you do yo your truck today??

Well I didn't do it today but I replaced my center caps, lugs and tires last week. Summit supplied center caps and lugs from Gorilla. Copper Cobra 255/70-15.

I've done this -- takes a lot of time to pull all the clear plastic off, then scuff all the "chrome" tape off, then mask and tape, tape and mask...but I really liked the way mine came out.

By the way, did I mention you'll spend a lot of time masking and taping?

Re: What did you do yo your truck today??

I changed the dash cluster lights over to LEDs. I also repaired the Odometer and trip odometer using parts from a junkyard cluster. I'll try and get some night pics added.

Re: What did you do yo your truck today??

My 1994 ext cab died on the side of the road yesterday just like you shut off the key. Got a guy to spin it over while I looked under the hood and saw a spark coming from the coil wire where it fits on the coil, took it off, scraped it with my knife, squeezed the terminal a little tighter, popped it back on and sprayed it with ignition sealer. Fired up right away and worked fine ever since - sometimes you just get lucky......

Re: What did you do yo your truck today??

Had to replace the blower motor.
It's been giving me trouble for months and finally gave up the ghost.

If you don't have the noise reducing cover on it isn't to bad.
I had to remove the ECM to get that off.
It's kind of a pain to get it past the dash. You have to turn it and then pull real hard to get it past the lower dash.

Re: What did you do yo your truck today??

lokitruck, here is a post of mine where I took my blower motor out. Look at the pics; it's all in how you turn it. This is good for 88-94 dash.
