Re: My 68 c10
my guess about the holes are that their from some putting their own marker lights on the bed. lol
their gettin welded up it actually took me and my friend 930 am - 4 pm to have the bed stripped even inter tailight buckets |

Re: My 68 c10
Thanks Very Much
For all the encouraging comments everybody has given my son. He is really attached to "Crooked". Today he fired it up fopr the first time since tear down. It sounded good and it idled smooth on the first try. It was great to me to see his face when it fired up. Its like that commercial, Priceless

Re: My 68 c10
today i started up my truck since janurary and iwas so happy i hear it have its life back.
im more and more pumped to get it done now. but couldnt leave it running for long since no kickdown cable and radiator coolant wasnt in. AND IT RAN REALLY GOOD AND IDLE SOUNDED GREAT FOR NOT EVEN TURING DISTRIBUTOR AND MESSING WITH TIMING. heres my check list for it be on the road!!!! [X]FINISH EXHAUST [X]BLEED BRAKES - NEW PROBLEM THE BRAKE BOOSTER IS NO GOOD.. [X]GET KICKDOWN FOR TRANSMISSION [X]PUT TRANNY FLUID IN [X]DIAL ENGINE IN [X]BODY WORK Last edited by JesseH13; 11-20-2010 at 06:05 PM. |
