No sir, have not gotten it yet.
I decided to hold off until I made my final decision on what to do about rear brakes. I am uncertain at this point if I am going to do a hub/spindle swap or just swap out the whole rearend. I want disc brakes, but dont want to lose my posi rearend. I think I want some higher gears too... But again I have not turned my focus to that area yet and still dont know what I am talking about (basically)

All you have to do is convert your 12 bolt to disc brakes. I offer 5 different bracket assemblies for doing such.

I was holding off until I did the dismantle on the '85 Sierra so that when I put in my order to you, I will be getting everything I would need in one shot. Hopefully to save time and shipping costs.

Hey guys im to the point of putting my metal sleeved bushings in my trailing arms. Does any body have a good way to do it before i possibly damage them trying to get them in. Or do they have little clamp presses at the local auto parts store i could use?

wow, never mind i was on my way home when i asked and now that ive tried it they go in almost all the way already with out trying so i no i can get them, i was just thinking that they would be super hard to get in. so never mind

well i havent had a hole lot of time lately but i did get both my trailing arms cleaned up and primed. i also got a bushing in one. i cleaned the crap out of one then took them to the car wash to try to blast any thing else off and while i was there i sprayed the one i hadnt cleaned yet just to help the process. they last pic is my paint booth, its a pully system we have in the trees to raise and lower a poll we throw kegs over.

yea, i cant seem to sell it. I got a guy that keeps talking to me about it but he just hasnt bought it yet. well after i paint those trailing arms i will start on the rear end. Ive already cleaned up but it has been sitting out side so i got alot of surface rust on it. im also going to go threw the brake compents put new brake pads on and maybe new cyclinders. I saw on here somewhere where a guy bought new e-brake cables from napa, i will try to get those too. i was wanting to buy a new diferintial cover but with money tight i might just paint it the same as the frame and keep the rest of the axle black. i dont know yet, any input?

Well havent got much done. But we did finally close and move in our first home. We dont have internet yet so no pics till then. I did get my trailing arms painted. Im going to try to clean up and primer my rear end tmrw if the weather holds up.

So once i put my rearend back on im moving to the motor install and all the plumbing. But i was wondering if i could keep the origanal motor brackets for the 327 i got. And just by new rubber mounts. Does that work? It seems like every ome changes to a tubular mount is that just cosmetic or a.must for header clearence?

You can denfintely just buy new OEM style motor mounts. There isn't any issues with header clearence as long as you use a truck specific header. There are about 3 different headers that will work in these trucks. I'm not sure why so many people buy the tubular CPP/POL motor mount brackets. I guess it's a looks thing.

Yea to all. Ive been in the process of getting our new house squared away and all yhe great things that come along with that! Anyways we dont have our computer up and going yet so i dont know how to post pics from my phone.

I have still been working on the truck thow. I opened up my rearend to see what gears i had and i have 3.73s so i took it to the local shol and had them make it a posi. I also bought a nice new shiny aluminum cover. But anyways i bolted on all my rearend and suspinsion components and i was wondering what the torq specs on all that stuff is or do i just tighten the crap out of it? Any help would be great. Pics will be coming soon once we get internet at the hiuse.
