Re: Lets see your Toolbox!
I have a Snap On KR1000 from about 1985. Has anyone tried to take a box apart and paint or powder coat it?

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!
I took apart my 50th anniversary Mac box years ago and blasted it and painted it when I was in college. It was a ton of work and I only got the bottom section done.

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!
you'll have to excuse the mess,, was in the middle of too many projects when was broken in to and had a bunch of things stolen. Took a bunch of random pictures of things for the insurance man.
This one,, is the best one of all..... courtesy of Mr. Steven Pullin (Pullin TV) Don't know who makes them for NAPA, but is a reallllly nice box. Hey..... At least things inside are slightly more orginized than things appear outside LOL Had this old Homak box I had gotten from my Dads estate before the Pinks thing,, I was tickeled with it until I won the NAPA box. It's a POS compared to the NAPA box.

Re: Lets see your Toolbox!
the black cart I just got, still in the box for now.
the red box I've had for quite a while. I have about $700 in it and it will handle any thing any compairable size Snap-on box will. the Pink one I just got my girlfreind for christmas, make sure Google is on "Safe search" if you try to look for one ! the black Snap-On is my company issue'd box I use at work. it's a nice box, just WAY over price'd !

it always amazes me that the guys with the biggest boxes usually have one layer of tools with the original molded plastic display case and lots of empty space. they also have a couple of drawers full of stuff, no tools, just parts, old hoses, ketchup & mustard packs, nuts and bolts. must be a biggest box wins thing?
