Re: Nobaddaze's 82 C10 Cruiser Build
Small Update Today....Got some parts back from my waterjet guy, Bent em up on the CNC press brake, Tacked em together, and Uh oh the parts dont fit
Measured wrong on the shape of the leafspring pad. Ok, simple fix. get out the grinder and make it work. Problem solved. Rear end in place and working. Front: Fat fingered the bolt dole dimension and made it an inch too big, Thats just gonna get recut because its pretty much screwed. But that aside it looks badass so far, got a little tweakin to do and some material to get but it will be 4-linkin in no time |

Re: Nobaddaze's 82 C10 Cruiser Build
Looking good. How come not just weld the axle bracket right to the axle, and get rid of the u-bolts and spring plate?

Re: Nobaddaze's 82 C10 Cruiser Build
LOL! When I bought the truck I was just gonna throw some rims on it and static drop it, maybe drive to work every once and a while.
Now Im into a Frame off Build, and when im done im sure its not gonna be low enough or not have enough power and im gonna start over again |

Re: Nobaddaze's 82 C10 Cruiser Build
ok guys,
I need your thoughts...Panhard vs. Watts? Panhard bar: Simple, cheap, easy to install, minimal parts, side to side movement throughout travel Watts Link: Strong, minimal side to side movement, "cool factor" More moving parts, More expense any thoughts? |

Re: Nobaddaze's 82 C10 Cruiser Build
i think you cant go wrong either way bro i have a panhard bar and there is a little shifting but nothing too crazy the trick with going with a panhard bar is too go the longest you can....but either way you'll be ok....

Re: Nobaddaze's 82 C10 Cruiser Build
Yea, I might have it bolt on to the housing section. I need to do my bridge setup first so i can see where i can mount the watts to.
