Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds

There are a lot of really nice trucks in here. I think the 60-66 GM trucks are the only ones that look just as good in a long bed as they do in a shorty.

Yeah, Im converting to custom cab. Was a pretty stock truck when I got it. Had the litter container, 4way flashers and passenger side visor when I got it. I have added, factory clock (not installed yet), spotlight (not installed yet), passenger side mirror, glovebox light, bumper guards, Cab trim, aluminum grill (not installed yet), chrome bumpers front/rear, converted to factory guages w/factory vacuum and tach....probably a few I cant think of just yet.

ol school chevy i love your green truck! thats exactly how i wanted to paint my 64 long stepper now i know how it looks!...and strokerpop...is that the "palamino" color that came on these trucks or is that more pinkish? sorry for how ignorant that question probably sounds haha my truck was originally that palamino tan or whatever they called it and that instantly reminded me of mine

To porter90...
Its actually an original 1955 Chevy passenger car coral and shadow grey. I wanted to keep a classic color and remembered a car down the street when I was growing up. I often get teased that it is "pink" but, its coral. Appreciate the attention....

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds

My '63 I bought when I was 14, drove every day till I lost it a few years ago. It had a mostly stock 327 with 4-speed in it. Crazy fast little engine though, my buddy's would always get all pissed off at me because their souped up new fords and dodges could never keep up with me, lol I traded it for a jacked up Toyota because I wanted a 4x4 really bad...still kick myself every day, would give anything to have my baby back!!

The silver '65 is my sister's truck, I did a quick rattle can paint job for her, but ran out of time to finish it before she went back to school. I'm surprised though, that crappy paint job has held up for like 4 or 5 years now! I was in a hurry, didnt even sand the truck first, lol

Re: how about some pics of 60-66 long beds

thank you, at creep, unfortunately it is only a fake GMC.. originally a Chevy but i prefer the GMC hood and grill. at 1963c-10, it is a 64 vin states it is originally a long fleet but it had a step side when i got it about 10 years ago for my 15th birthday. running a 350 punched 60 over not sure what kind of HP it has these days she went back to daily driver duty so i just swapped a stock cam back in. running a T5 5 speed out of an 88 fire bird world class 1800 rpm at 80mph with 4.11 single burner out back.
