Great job getting everything in primer. I would say that's some huge progress.

Love all those Comp parts. Vote here for the Aluminum heads you won't regret it.
I see you did some repair on the top above the windshield. Was it difficult? I have some pin holes on the driver side in the same area. Bret

Re: 1965 chevy truck one piece @a time
went by the shop after work and took some shots with my cell phone sorry if the pics look
fuzzy . they had the cab in place and the fire wall smoothed out pretty good the want the rear well wells so the can cut the metal for the bed to see how low the rear sets on the back so if i need to but drop spindles next week a long with the wheels for the right off set . |

Re: 1965 chevy truck one piece @a time
here is a couple pics from the last two days at the shop ..
They cut and mocked up the inner wheel wells for the poor man prostreet and cut the metal plate next will be welding the angle strips in then have the plate and bed line x then when i get it home ill install the wood after i sand and poly the wood ... i likes how the plate has all the holes cut already no drilling . Took Murry an hour to program all the setting on the cutting table and 15 min to cut the plate . |

Re: 1965 chevy truck one piece @a time
little update to night they capped the ends of the bed also filled in the stake
pockets primed and painted the metal plate for the bed and cut and trimmed the wood for the bed .. i hope that will add enough weight to the rear to keep the tires from spinning next week ordering wheels tires and drop spindles is sitting to high for the look i'm going for |
