Re: Calling all 2wd blazer pics!

gus,

Im loving the rims on the green blazer, but i think the ones on your C10 have more lip! What brand and size are they? were you able to find them in 5on5 bolt pattern?

Re: Calling all 2wd blazer pics!

No sorry no pics, Used a piece of 1 " square aluminum stock and mounted the hinges to that right behind the seats. Mounted to oil filled shocks off an old station wagon to hold it up.

Re: Calling all 2wd blazer pics!

Hate to say it. But i am going to be selling a 71 2wd Jimmy. I just made up my mind to let it go. I will try to get some pics this weekend for anyone interested. Floors and quarters in great shape especially living in VA. Been in garage for approx 15 years. Needs rockers and rocker boxes. No motor or trans. Get the word out if someone you know is looking. Thanks

Re: Calling all 2wd blazer pics!

Very nice trucks...I love the bagged trucks...I have a question for all. My Blaze is a real 70 2wd, I would love to take it to the next level; But I am apprehensive to do such drastic mods to a factory stocker...Question is, Mod it, leave it, or trade/sell for a modded? There was only under a 1000 made...The 84 ChooChoo in the pic, was my wife's truck.

As long as you aren't notching the frame, you should be able to go back to stock fairly easily. It looks like you may already have a small drop so adding some bags will be just another minor mod.

The other option is to just give the truck to me!

Yes, 3in f/b drop...Never low enough, and I hate my wheel tire combo, 235/60 15 front, 255/60 15 rear...Would like to see 20's-22's...

And I'll have to think about option 2....Ummm, no...LoL
