Great update! Congrats on the grand baby! Also, we need a video of that motor running! What mufflers did you go with and do you like how they sound?

Re: I am from the Desert

That's gotta be one of the best weeks a man could have. Bringing life to a beautiful classic Chevy truck and a daughter bringing life to beautiful baby. It truly doesn't get better than that I believe. Congratulations my friend. God is good.

thank you Brian your too kind.. I know we all have choices about colors I had different colors in mind ...the original color of the truck yellow was my plan for years /black interior... and then I tell anyone who will listen I would paint every truck I own Medium Green 502 (the 72 in my Avatar )BIG BUT here I really love this blue with a buckskin interior I agree on the classy .....besides I am getting very anxious to drive

Re: I am from the Desert

haha! Sometimes you have to entice the other parts out of hiding by ordering new ones.

Re: I am from the Desert

I like the painted inners. Gives the engine bay a clean look.

Re: I am from the Desert

What was the problem with the suspension to cause it to not sit right? Binding or spring not in the proper position? I will paint my inner fenders body color too. Looks great!

Re: I am from the Desert

Brian
think it just didn't seat correctly with the initial install 4 inch drop spindles / springs combo I made sure it was positioned properly on the lower control arm when I put it back together it seemed better but didn't pass the finger between the tire and fender test on each side I then put my milk crate seat in took it on the street in my neighborhood and wanted to beat on it any way.... second burn out I heard a loud thump I assumed my spring positioning process was a success ....all kidding aside it must have needed that trauma to seat properly .....I struggled with same color inner fenders and now very happy with it engine bay does look brighter cleaner and show cases the engine
thanks for asking will be looking for yours
Jess

I have a strong feeling we may be related, cause' that sounds like something I've said at least a few times in my life.
