I'm still learning about all this, but I see on PML's website they will drill the the PCV and breather for you. I'm assuming the passenger side rear is the PCV and the front of the driver side cover has the breather, can you just fill the engine with oil by unplugging the breather?

(I believe) My current breather is routed from the valve cover to the air cleaner, with yours it just looks like a plug with no hose, are you going to route a hose to the air cleaner or is that plug sufficient?

You got it! Just pull out the breather and fill there. They give you a little bent tube to use. I am not running anything to the aircleaner

With a drop member is the ride height adjustable? (silly question really, I know it is) I mean, I know it wont go back up to stock height....but is the idea that it's always pretty much draggin frame? I only ask because I want to go this route, in fact, I just had my estimate from the guys at PB come through the other day. But I use my truck daily and for haulin now and again.

You would be fine if you use accuair with it. They have sensors to keep whatever ride height you want, even if your hauling a load. Depending how low you want to go you could get a PB setup without changing the front crossmember. I think it's the stage 1 setup, can't remember

Thanks Seth, I'm way new at this but keen to go the PB route with my truck‎...are there any other major modifications you need to make in order to install PB drop member? I read on superflysteiny that he shortened the rear end, is that necessary? And does the drive shaft need to be modified?‏

Pretty much need to strip truck to bare frame., that's really the easiest. Not nessecarry to narrow the rear end. Yes drive shaft will probably have to be modified. You should run a 2 piece if you want to lay frame. Go with porterbuilt from the start. I have built some stuff and tried cheaper routes and it's not worth it. PB is the best and worth every penny!

I went to bed thinking about how clean that engine looks, lol. Literally, seeing that front runner and valve cover set up is going to cost me a bunch of money, lol. I had a couple questions when you have a minute.

Are there any performance/ventilation issues with having the PCV mounted inboard on the valve cover? Most I've seen are on top.

Was there a particular reason you had yours drilled for the PCV on the rear passenger and the breather on the front driver side cover? My current setup has the PCV on the rear driver and breather on the front passenger, just trying to pick your brain a little...I appreciate the help.

The front runner system is a little pricey, but sure does make life easy. I had to get it because I'm running double hump heads and do not have and holes drilled in the heads for mounting anything. Front runner system mounts off the water pump. And it comes with water pump alternator a/c compressor... everything
No issues with ventilation. PML drills it there to look cleaner and they have a baffle built in there between where your rocker arms are

rear ends do have to be narrowed if you have a wide rear end and you run a full width offset on the rear 10 inch wheel

Yes.
The Extreme Dropmember requires a factory high hump.
It's easy to add.

They are on the parts board from time to time.
The versions with a 4-speed shifter hole or a transfer case shifter (or both) are the cheapest.
But thanks to the Dropmember's need for them,... they are getting harder to buy on this board.
