Re: My 86 build
I hope to get things rolling again, I'm holding off on the tires till I get another vehicle to drive for the winter. Its getting pretty cold now in the mornings, and it takes a lot of time and gas to get my truck warmed up in the morn....

Re: My 86 build
Going to take off my open element 6' K&N air filter and replace it with the factory snorkle style this weekend....hopefully that will help a bit with the cold. Once it's warmed up it runs awesome...but it's still hard on gas!

Re: My 86 build
I put my old air cleaner assembly back on today I think it helps some.....inner fenders would probably help keep some heat in and the rain out too. Anyhow soon time to park it. I wish I had a nice warm garage to keep it in all winter tho, I got a lot of things I want to do to it when it gets parked.

Re: My 86 build
wow nice rims,to get more heat try to cover the front a bit.As long as you have gauges you should be able to watch it!

Re: My 86 build
It's starting to get colder here, and it's snowed a few times now. Time to put it away....I hate this time of year!

Re: My 86 build
Thanks.........It's getting there. My plan is to save up some money over the winter for a 4 link kit and rear bags. Then bag the rear and "Z" the front in the winter or early spring, raise the bed floor, get my tires and wheels on and drive the _ _ _ _ out of it!

Re: My 86 build
Can you give me some details on the tailgate handle relocation? It look like a nice job. I love a smooth looking tailgate.

Re: My 86 build
haha....what relocation? I cut a big hole in the backside, that's as far as I got with it! I had planned on a relocating kit, but I'm gonna raise my bed floor anyway so I think I'm just gonna weld it shut and smooth out all the seams....

Re: My 86 build
Weather is still not too bad down in the Windsor area, although we are the furthest south part of Canada.
