Finally got the 8" wheels painted black. Have to get some wider rubber now too. Also working on getting the dual master cylinder installed.

Finally got to the master cylinder. I had the help of big Willie once again. I didn't have time and he can run brake lines like no other.

Yes the brakes work perfectly without the booster. I like the looks as well because I don't have that big ol booster under the hood!

The front could be brought down a little bit, but I don't want it any lower. I don't really have to worry about much sticking up in the road when I'm driving. Everything is working perfectly together. Couldn't be happier with this setup.

Are those the stock steel wheels that came on the truck or are you running something different? Which spindle did they use on the front, the modular or just the regular 2.5” drop? Looks like there was no issue with the brakes clearing those wheels are you running a wheels spacer also?

You need stock 4x4 Blazer wheels to clear the calipers, then no type of spacer is needed. We just used the regular 2.5" drop spindle

So the wheels you had on it when you had the qa1 suspension where from a 4x4 blazer do you recall the year? 15x7? I was gonna order some of the wheel vintiques but I’m not sure what size and backspacing.

The plain steel ones remind me of the military blazer wheels (m1009). Good looking truck man and I bet its a fun drive with suspension dialed in.

Wheel Vintique will know exactly what you want. I think my wheels are from a late 70's early 80's square Blazer

So, you've said a number of times how well the truck handles with the new suspension, how is the ride? I'm about to assemble my suspension. I have been going back and forth on what to use. I live in Maine where the roads are hilly, curvy and not the smoothest.

The ride is outstanding as well! And with the adjustable shocks you can tailor the smoothness or stiffness as you like. You won't be disappointed with the setup.

I'm in GJ as well, restoring a '64 for my dad. I just finished painting everything. Chassis is 80% complete and we will start putting the body back together this weekend.

Your '72 is awesome, I'd like to build that body style for myself.

Who here has replaced the bearing in the back tail section of the 3 on the tree tranny? Where the drive shaft slides in.

I need some advice. Can I just pull it out or does the transmission have to be dropped? Thank you.
