Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
So how exactly did you mount teh back of the cab to the frame? Did the factory frame holes on the crossmember match up to the cab? Making it a very easy swap? Aside from the notches in the floor.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
I'm still working on that. I will make special mounts that attach to the side of the frame. like the originals, but not the stupid ones that come stock. I would still like to get the cab a bit lower in the back. I'll make the back mounts when I'm sure where the cab will fit the best.

Yep! You've officially arrived since you've been put on "The List". The next step of indoctrination is to be deputized by Joe.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
Thanks Andrew. The guy wants the frame cleaned & painted, but before that I have to weld up the Valarie front suspension someone else tacked on. Then finish putting the 302 engine together, and install it with a C-6tranny. Then Steering column, and wiring. That's all. That should keep me busy for a while. I hope he doesn't run out of $$$ I wish he brought me the truck before he had it painted.
